Following My President's and Washington's policies

I am starting this blog simply as a way to keep myself and others attuned to what the new folks in Washington are doing. They are on thin ice with me already. Seeing Guantanamo close and the inmates show up on terrorist videos the next day was angering to say the least. 

Obama chooses Arab network for first TV interview:
Interesting move. I see what he was trying to do here, but I really think his first should have been to us. Just me. 

Nationalization of U.S. banks gets a new, serious look:
Is our situation really this desperate now? Maybe something for a limited time would be good... like the company can buy back the stakes after a certain amount of time? 

PELOSI SAYS BIRTH CONTROL WILL HELP ECONOMY:
This among many other reasons is why I am a huge lobbyist against the left. Without a strong moral base to stand on they have no filter to what can be proposed. Does legislation such as this really speak for the people?
